KUALA LUMPUR: Shares of KULIM (M) BHD [] skidded in early trade on Thursday, Feb 24 after its share split and bonus issue when ex.
At 9.08am, it was down 16 sen to RM3.81 with 4.1 million shares done.
The FBM KLCI shed 1.48 points to decline to 1,509.63. Turnover was 106.82 million shares done valued at RM62.89 million. There were 74 gainers, 138 losers and 85 stocks unchanged.
Kulim's corporate exercise includes the subdivision of every one existing 50 sen share into two 25 sen shares.
Following the share split,''Kulim will undertake a bonus issue of new 25 sen shares on the basis of one bonus share for every one 25 sen share held after the share split.
On Wednesday, its share price surged 62 sen to RM15.88.
