Kulim resumes upward trend, share split, bonus issue to go ex Thursday

KUALA LUMPUR: Kulim (Malaysia) Bhd share price broke managed to resume its upward trend on Wednesday, Feb 23 ahead of its share split and one-for-one bonus going ex on Thursday.

At 3.09pm, Kulim was up 54 sen to RM15.80 with 1.16 million shares done.

The FBM KLCI fell 1.97 points to 1,511.66. Turnover was 949.51 million shares valued at RM1.077 billion. There were 271 gainers, 465 losers and 267 stocks unchanged.

Kulim's corporate exercise includes the subdivision of every one existing 50 sen share into two 25 sen shares.

Following the share split,'' Kulim will undertake a bonus issue of new 25 sen shares on the basis of one bonus share for every one 25 sen share held after the share split.
