KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Negara Malaysia international reserves rose US$1.5 billion to US$109.6 billion (RM338 billion) as at Feb 14 this year from US$108.1 billion (RM333.5 billion) on Jan 31.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Feb 22, the central bank said the reserves position was sufficient to finance 8.1 months of retained imports and was 4.3 times the short-term external debt.
