KUALA LUMPUR: Shares of Masterskill Education Group Bhd rose at the midday break on Wednesday, Sept 29 ahead of the announcement that it has received the certificate of registration for its Kuching campus.
At 12.30pm, it was up 13 sen to RM3.16 with 1.52 million shares done. The 13 sen gain was the biggest in recent days after it slumped to its historic low last week since listing. Its retail offer price was RM3.50 during the IPO.
Masterskill told Bursa Malaysia that the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia had in its letter, dater Sept 28, granted the certificate of registration to Masterskill's Kuching campus.
'Masterskill has obtained all the necessary approvals from relevant authorities and Masterskill's Kuching Campus shall commence its full operation with effective from Oct 1, 2010 (Friday),' it said.
