KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Sri Dr Zeti Akhtar Aziz has been reappointed as the Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia for a term of five years with effect from May 1, 2011.
In a statement Wednesday, April 20, the central bank said the Yang di-Pertuan Agong had consented to the reappointment of Zeti.
Zeti has held the position of Governor of the Central Bank since May 2000.
