KUALA LUMPUR: SILK Holding Bhd's subsidiary, Jasa Merin (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has accepted a RM12 million contract to provide an anchor handling tug supply vessel.
SILK said on Wednesday, Dec 1, the contract was for a primary period of eight months with an extension option, at the discretion of the charterer which was an established oil major.
'The contract which is valued at approximately RM12 million is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of SILK for the financial year ending July 31, 2011,' it said.
