KUALA LUMPUR: BOUSTEAD HOLDINGS BHD [] (Boustead) net profit for the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2010 rose 14.7% to RM125 million from RM109 million a year ago, on the back of revenue RM1.5 billion, driven mainly by its PLANTATION [] division.
For the nine months ended Sept 30, Boustead's net profit jumped 63% to RM390 million from RM239 million in 2009, the group said on Monday, Nov 29.
Boustead declared a single-tier dividend of 12 sen per share, bringing total dividend to date for the financial year to 27 sen.
Boustead deputy chairman and group managing director Tan Sri Lodin Wok Kamaruddin said looking ahead, all the elements were in place for another year of growth for the group as it had already realised some of its strategies in delivering its earnings track record.
