KUALA LUMPUR: BOUSTEAD HEAVY INDUSTRIES CORP []oration Bhd's (BHIC) shares advanced in the afternoon session on Monday, Oct 18 after the company landed a contract from the Defence Ministry to build six second-generation patrol vessels with combatant capabilities.
At 3.30pm, BHIC gained six sen to RM4.60 with 630,200 shares traded.
BHIC said on the value and duration of the project are to be negotiated with the government.
