KUALA LUMPUR: MESB BHD [], an engineering and CONSTRUCTION [] company, aims to have more than 100 completely-built Telco tower stations including temporary structures in Melaka and Penang by year-end.
Executive director Ricky Ng said the company was currently expanding its network in core sectors to achieve better results next year.
"We are still carrying out market penetration work and are focusing our efforts in Malaysia as I think there is still room for improvement in the country.
"We see a large potential in the telecommunication sector, and I am confident the potential for us is there. We are now progressively building new Telco tower stations," he told reporters here on Wednesday, Sept 22 after the company's annual general meeting. ''
He also said the company was cautiously optimistic over prospects in the next financial year as projections and business opportunities sometimes depended on government policies and external factors.
