KUALA LUMPUR: Maxis Bhd will launch the iPhone 4 on Friday, Sept 24 with new plans''tailored for iPhone customers.
It said on Thursday, Sept 23 the iPhone''4 features FaceTime, which makes the dream of video calling a reality. It added Apple's new Retina display, the highest resolution display ever built''into a phone, resulting in super crisp text, images and video.
Other features of iPhone 4 are a 5.0 megapixel camera with LED flash, HD video recording, Apple's A4''processor, a 3-axis gyro and up to 40% longer talk time.
Maxis chief operating officer Jean-Pascal van Overbeke said Maxis strives to bring the latest TECHNOLOGY [] to'' existing customers and is offering the much anticipated iPhone 4.
"Over the past 12 months, Maxis has more than doubled the data-carrying capacity of its mobile network, ensuring a truly optimised iPhone 4 experience with better speed and coverage," he said.
