SEOUL:'' Samsung Engineering Co., South Korea's largest industrial plant builder said Monday, Aug 30 it has clinched a US$770 million order to build a petrochemical plant in Sabah, South Korea's Yonhap news agency said.
Under the deal with Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd, a unit of Malaysia's state-run oil company Petronas, Samsung Engineering will complete the plant by December 2013, the company said in a statement.
The plant to be built in Sabah will produce 300,000 barrels of oil and 1.25 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day, according to the company. - Bernama
