KUALA LUMPUR: MBM RESOURCES BHD []'s (MBMR) share price advances on Wednesday, Aug 18 after its net profit for the second quarter ended June 30, 2010 surged 176.8% to RM38.6 million from RM13.95 million a year earlier, driven strong orders.
At 9.16am, the stock was up 16 sen to RM3.32 with 262,000 shares traded.
MBMR's revenue rose 52.8% to RM404.8 million from RM264.93 million. Earnings per share was 16.02 sen.
The company declared a first interim single tier dividend of five sen per share for financial year ended Dec 31, 2010.
