KUALA LUMPUR: Star Publications (Malaysia) Bhd net profit for the second quarter ended June 30, 2010 rose to RM50.08 million from RM32.86 million a year ago on the back of RM295.74 million revenue.
The company on Tuesday, Aug 17 declared an interim dividend of 7.5 sen per share and a special tax exempt dividend of 3 sen per share, payable to shareholders on Oct 18, 2010. It said the entitlement date would be Sept 30.
