Glove makers extend losses

KUALA LUMPUR: Rubber glove makers were among the top losers on Bursa Malaysia in early traded on Tuesday, Aug 10 after Hwang DBS Vickers Research in a note on Monday said demand could be normalising to lower levels as the flu outbreak is under control and customers are reducing inventory holding periods to one to two months.

At 9.21am, Supermax fell 15 sen to RM5.85, Top Glove down 13 sen to RM6, Hartalega down eight sen to RM7.90, Latexx lost six sen to RM3.46 while Kossan declined five sen to RM3.62.
