Nikkei climbs for 3rd day, Greece govt wins vote

TOKYO: The Nikkei average gained for a third straight session, tracking an advance on Wall Street after Greece's government on Wednesday survived a confidence vote crucial to avoiding a sovereign default.

The benchmark Nikkei average climbed 0.7 percent to 9,525.25 on Wednesday, while the broader Topix gained 0.5 percent to 819.51. ' Reuters
