KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Negara Malaysia international reserves rose US$500 million to US$133.2 billion (RM402.6 billion) as at June 15 this year from US$132.7 billion (RM401.4 billion) as at May 31.
In a statement Wednesday, June 22, Bank Negara said the reserves position was sufficient to finance 9.5 months of retained imports and is 4.4 times the short-term external debt.
