KUALA LUMPUR: Blue chips on Bursa Malaysia fell in early trade on Monday, March 14, in line with the regional markets as investors stayed cautious as they assessed impact of Japan's earthquake which may have left 10,000 people missing.
At 9.11am, the FBM KLCI fell 14.56 points to 1,481.06. Turnover was 67.38 million shares done valued at RM55.06 million. There were 47 gainers, 279 losers and 63 stocks unchanged.
Nestle fell the most, down 78 sen to RM45, BAT 58 sen to RM45.02, PPB 36 sen tp RM16.36, PetDag 32 sen to RM13.86, UMW 17 sen to RM7.05, Sime 15 sen to RM8.88 and KLK 15 sen to RM20.52.
