KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI rose in early trade on Thursday, Oct 13, in line with the positive sentiment at key regional markets and the higher overnight close at Wall Street.
At 9.10am, the benchmark index added 12.10 points to 1,440.60, lifted by gains at select blue chips.
Gainers beat losers 259 to 25, while 92 counters traded unchanged. Volume was 111.02 million shares valued at RM96.93 million.
Among the early gainers were Digi, CI Holdings, Genting, Ta Ann, Bursa, Petronas Chemicals, JT International, AirAsia, Sime Darby and Bernas.
