KUALA LUMPUR: CENTURY LOGISTICS HOLDINGS BHD [] expects the floods in Rojana Industrial Park, Ayutthaya, Thailand to have a minimal impact on its distribution centre.
It said on Wednesday, Oct 12 that 'the impact resulting from the flood is expected to be minimal as our facility is an elevated building'.
However, access to the industrial park has been closed.
Its 90% subsidiary, Century Resources (Thailand) Ltd, which owned the centre had taken precautionary measures including protection of assets and deferred the transfer inwards of goods and assets from its new customer.
'In view of the property all risk insurance in place, which includes, amongst others, flood coverage, no material impact is anticipated,' it said.
