KUALA LUMPUR: Agriculture player QL RESOURCES BHD [] rose in early trade on Thursday, July 14 after it came out tops at The Edge Billion Ringgit Club (BRC) Corporate Awards that were held a day earlier when it took home the coveted Company of the Year award.
At 9.15am, QL added six sen to RM3.18 with 6,000 shares done.
The company, which started as a small family business distributing animal feed in a fishing village in the 1980s, was recognized for its strong profitability and creation of shareholder value.
