KUALA LUMPUR: PLUS EXPRESSWAYS BHD []'s board of directors has approved the interim single tier dividend of 15 sen per share amounting to RM750.0 million.
The tolled road operator said on Wednesday, June 29 the entitlement date for the interim dividend would be July 14 and the payment date July 29.
UEM Group Bhd and the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) had offered to take over the business and undertakings, including all assets and liabilities, of PLUS last year.
PLUS said under the offer letter on Oct 15, 2010 (which was revised on Nov 9), if there was any dividend payment from the date of offer up to the completion of the disposal, the offer price of RM4.60 per share would be reduced.
Khazanah Nasional Bhd, via the UEM Group, owns 54.04% or 2.7 billion PLUS shares while the EPF owns 12.36% or 618.15 million shares.
