KUALA LUMPUR: Main Market-bound Eversendai Corporation Bhd's subsidiary Eversendai Engineering Qatar WLL has secured a contract worth RM139 million from Qatar Petroleum.
In a statement Wednesday, June 29, Eversendai said the contract was to undertake structural steel works for Phase 4A of the Nakhilat Shipyard at Port Ras Laffan in Qatar.
It said the contract is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2012.
'The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of Eversendai group for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2011 and 2012,' it said.
Eversendai will be going for its listing on Friday, July 1.
