KUALA LUMPUR: Shares of TRANSMILE GROUP BHD [], which will be suspended on Thursday, March 3, managed to eke out marginal gains in very active trade on Wednesday.
At 3.49pm, the beleaguered air cargo transporter is up one sen to 7.5 sen with 34.879 million shares done.
The FBM KLCI is down 6.86 points to 1,495.38. Turnover was 1.00 billion shares valued at RM1.12 billion. Losers thumped gainers 813 to 74 while 180 stocks were unchanged.
Earlier Wednesday, Transmile said it had submitted an application to Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd to appeal against the decision to delist the company.
The application was also to seek an extension of time to submit a regularisation plan to Bursa Securities.
'Removal of the securities of the company from the official list of Bursa Securities on March 7, 2011 shall be deferred pending the decision on the appeal,' it said.
