KUALA LUMPUR: PLANTATION []s were among the major losers in early trade on Wednesday, March 2 in line with the cautious market sentiment.
At 9.47am, the FBM KLCI was down 8.72 points to 1,493.52. Turnover was 197.22 million shares valued at RM145.05 million. There were 426 losers, 42 gainers, 162 stocks unchanged.
Far East was the top decliner, down 40 sen to RM7.10 with 500 shares done, Chin Teck Plantations lost 23 sen to RM8.50, Batu Kawan 12 sen to RM15.20 and Kulim 11 sen to RM3.24.
