KUALA LUMPUR: CIMB Equities Research said YTL Corp fell to a low of RM6.96 before bouncing a tad higher but this countertrend rebound looks exhausted at this juncture.
"The rebound may have peaked at RM7.50, which is still below the 30-day SMA," it said iin its technical outlook on Monday, March 21.
CIMB Research said the MACD is still rising but it is beginning to see signs of exhaustion. The histogram bars are flattening. RSI is also moving sideways.
'Our strategy here is to unload on strength. Use any rebound towards RM7.35-RM7.50 to lock in profit. Only a rise above RM7.60 would negate this downtrend. Support is at RM6.96 and RM6.60,' it said.
