KUALA LUMPUR: PLANTATION [] stocks notched gains in early trade on Wednesday, Dec 29, as investors sentiment was underpinned by the positive outlook for crude palm oil (CPO).
At 9.16am, PPB was up 20 sen to RM17.30 with 1,100 shares done. KL Kepong rise 12 sen to RM22.76 and Tradewinds Plantations 10 sen to RM3.20.
CBIP, which manufactures palm oil mills, climbed 15 sen to RM3.84.
The FBM KLCI rose 4.16 points to 1,521.6. Turnover was 52.49 million shares done valued at RM46 million. Advancers beat losers 171 to 49 while 136 stocks were unchanged.
