KUALA LUMPUR: Nasim Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of the Peugeot brand in Malaysia, will launch the 308 CC model on Jan 6, 2011 at an indicative price RM200,000.
The two-door convertible will be the first of three new models to be launched by Nasim in 2011.
Nasim chief executive officer SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin said the company's previous coupe cabriolet, the 207 CC was the market leader in the segment, and that the new 308 CC would be just as popular in this niche market.
'Peugeot was the first carmaker to introduce the coupe cabriolet with the 401 in the 1930s and the new 308 CC further reinforces Peugeot's position as a market leader in this segment,' he said in a statement Wednesday, Dec 29.
The new 308 CC will be launched on Jan 6 and featured at a Nasim roadshow at the Bangsar Shopping Centre from Jan 7 to Jan 9.
