KUALA LUMPUR: Trading in the securities of SUNRISE BHD [] and UEM LAND HOLDINGS BHD [] were voluntarily suspended from 9am on Wednesday, Nov 3 until 5pm on Thursday pending material announcements from both companies.
'The request for suspension is made under subparagraph 3.1(b) of Practice Note No. 2 on Requests for Suspension of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities in view of a potential material corporate exercise involving Sunrise,' Sunrise said.
Meanwhile, UEM Land said the request for suspension was pending a 'material announcement on a potential corporate exercise'.
