KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Steel Works (KL) Bhd's warrants surged in early trade on Tuesday, Nov 2 on its first trading day.
At 9.35am, it was up 17 sen to 38.5 sen with 128,500 shares done.
The FBM KLCI slipped 0.94 of a point to 1,508.72. Turnover was 170.3 million shares done valued at RM254.32 million. There were 166 gainers, 122 losers and 232 stocks unchanged.
The five-year warrants (Warrants 2010/2015) were issued on the basis of one warrant for every two shares held at an issue price of 18 sen per warrant.
