KUALA LUMPUR: PETRONAS GAS BHD [] fell the most on Monday, Sept 19, down 6.6% to RM13.70 after the record high last week while the broader market weakened further in line with European and Asian markets.
At 3.34pm, it was down 98 sen to RM13.70 with 331,100 shares done.
The FBM KLCI fell 14.62 points to 1,416.31. Turnover was 501.46 million shares valued at RM872.04 million. Losing stocks beat gainers 447 to 162.
According to wire reports, the surge last Thursday was'' underpinned by a report from JPMorgan Chase & Co that Petronas Gas would benefit from rising infrastructure spending in Southeast Asia.
