KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Sri Dr Mohamed Munir Abdul Majid is resigning from MALAYSIAN AIRLINE SYSTEM BHD [] (MAS) as its chairman, a post which he held for the past seven years.
His resignation from the board of the national carrier takes effect from July 31, MAS said in a statement to Bursa Malaysia on Wednesday, July 20.
Munir has been the chairman since Aug 1, 2004.
