KUALA LUMPUR: Lembaga Tabung Haji has emerged as a substantial shareholder in FABER GROUP BHD [] after it acquired 36 million shares or a 9.92% stake in the company.
In a filing Tuesday, June 7, Tabung Haji said that it acquired the shares on June 2 via an off-market transaction. Faber shares rose two sen to close at RM1.94 on June 2.
Khazanah Nasional is the largest shareholder in Faber with 34.29%, followed by Univ Trustee Malaysia Bhd with 22.6%, according to Bloomberg data.
Faber added two sen to RM1.84 on June 7.
