KUALA LUMPUR: ''FABER GROUP BHD [] shares rose on Wednesday, June 8 after Lembaga Tabung Haji emerged as a substantial shareholder in the company with 36 million shares or a 9.92% stake.
At 9.10am, Faber was up four sen to RM1.88 with 38,700 shares traded.
In a filing Tuesday, June 7, Tabung Haji said that it acquired the shares on June 2 via an off-market transaction from Universal Trustee (Malaysia) Bhd.
Faber shares rose two sen to close at RM1.94 on June 2.
Khazanah Nasional is the largest shareholder in Faber with 34.29%, followed by Univ Trustee Malaysia Bhd with 12.68%.
