Glencore sets IPO price range, could raise up to US$10 billion

HONG KONG: Switzerland's Glencore International AG could raise up to 6 billion pounds (US$10 billion) in a dual initial public offering in London and Hong Kong, a source with direct knowledge of the IPO plans told Reuters on Wednesday.

The world's largest diversified commodities trader has set the price range for the IPO at 480 to 580 pence per share. The IPO would value Glencore at US$48 billion-US$58 billion, said the source who asked not to be named because the terms aren't yet public.

Glencore is set to release the prospectus of the offering with the indicative price range and other details later on Wednesday. ' Reuters
