KUALA LUMPUR: FlyFirefly Sdn Bhd will not impose any fuel surcharge and will continue to absorb the increases in fuel costs.
Its managing director Eddy Leong said on Monday, May 9 it was Firefly's commitment to offer the lowest fares and provide five-star value to its customers.
'We acknowledge that we are not spared from the impact of increasing fuel prices, however in keeping to our promise of providing guaranteed low fares, we will not be imposing a fuel surcharge in the foreseeable future,' he said.
Leong said Firefly's fare structure and pricing strategies had already taken into account the off peak and high peak cycles, and both early bird buyers and last minute shoppers.
