KUALA LUMPUR: ECM Libra Investment Bank Bhd acquired 42 million shares of Eastern & Oriental Bhd or 5.12% stake up to April 28.
ECM Libra Financial Group Bhd said on Tuesday, May 10 the shares were acquired by its unit from the open market in the normal course of business held under available for sale category.
'The cost of investment was funded by internally generated funds of ECM Libra Investment Bank,' it said.
