KUALA LUMPUR: HONG LEONG INDUSTRIES BHD []'s (HLI) rights issue of 159.73 million rights shares were oversubscribed by 18.8%.
Hong Leong Investment Bank Bhd said on Tuesday, March 29 that at the close of acceptance and payment for the rights issue on March 25, it received total valid acceptances and excess application for 189.77 million rights shares.
'This represents an over-subscription of approximately 18.80% over the total number of 159.73'' million rights shares available for subscription under the rights issue,' it said.
