KUALA LUMPUR: Hwang DBS Vickers Research said with regional equities likely to come under renewed selling pressure, the Malaysian bourse may show a wobbly performance on Tuesday, March 29.
It said this follows an overnight drop on Wall Street as key U.S. stock indices slipped between 0.2% and 0.5% at the closing bell amidst concerns that the Japanese nuclear meltdown could worsen.
'From a technical perspective, the leading FBM KLCI will probably see a marginal negative bias today. Still, we do not expect the benchmark index to threaten its immediate support level of 1,495 yet,' it said.
