KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Steel Works (KL) Bhd's (Masteel) first warrants issue of 105.38 million new five years on the basis of one warrant for every existing two ordinary shares of 50 sen each at 18 sen per warrant have been oversubscribed by 72.61% at its closing date on Oct 19.
In a statement Monday, Oct 25, Masteel managing director and chief executive officer Datuk Seri Tai Hean Leng said from the five years warrants issue, the company was positive that there will be opportunity for its shareholders and warrant holders to benefit from the potential upside of its business activities in the coming years.
