KUALA LUMPUR: BCB BHD [] will receive unsold units of the ???U Mall??? shopping complex in Johor Baru in lieu of the RM47.99 million owed for contract works undertaken and completed.
BCB said it had on Tuesday, Oct 26 signed a memorandum of understanding with Global Earnest Sdn Bhd Marvel Plus Development Sdn Bhd and Wawasan Perumahan (Johor) Sdn Bhd to set out the terms and conditions by which Global would settle the amount owing.
It said Global would dispose of unsold units of a double storey shopping complex known as ???U Mall??? in Taman Pulai Utama, Johor Bahru, with an estimated market value of RM49.4 million.
However, this was subject to full report and valuation by Henry Butcher Malaysia (Johor) Sdn Bhd of such assets and a formal agreement to be finalised.
