KUALA LUMPUR: Main Market-bound Cypark Resources Bhd (Cypark) will concentrate on securing domestic landfill restoration and management projects for this year and next year, especially as solid waste management has come under focus in the 10th Malaysia Plan.
In particular, it is focusing on getting another project for restoring 112 unsanitary landfills aside from its current 16, which could cost around RM1.5 billion to RM2.5 billion in value.
"We are confident to say we are the only capable bidder with a track record behind us. Our success rate [in restoring landfills] is very high," said group CEO Daud Ahmad at the company's underwriting ceremony on Wednesday, Sept 8.
