Seoul shares tumble on Greece fears; banks fall

SEOUL: Seoul shares opened nearly 5 percent lower on Tuesday as investors dumped stocks amid deepening fears over Greece's debt crisis.

Falls were led by banking stocks, with KB Financial Group shedding 6.3 percent and Shinhan Financial Group dropping 6.3 percent.

The Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) was down 5.02 percent at 1,680.75 points as of 0003 GMT. ' Reuters
