KUALA LUMPUR: SALCON BHD [] has secured a contract worth RM20.67 million from Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang Sdn Bhd for works at the Muda River Water Scheme Phase 4A and associated works at Sg Dua, Seberang Perai.
It said on Monday, Oct 3 that its wholly owned subsidiary Salcon Engineering Bhd had accepted the letter of acceptance for the project.
Salcon said the project was for a period of 21 months from Nov 1, 2011 until July 31, 2013.
It said the project was expected contribute positively to its earnings for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2012 and 2013.
