KNM inks RM227.61m contract in Uzbekistan

KUALA LUMPUR: KNM Group has signed a contract worth US$71.63 million (RM227.61 million) with Lukoil Uzbekistan Operating Company.

It said on Thursday, Oct 6 that its wholly owned subsidiary KNM Process Systems Sdn Bhd (KNMPS) had on Oct 3, 2011 signed the contract in respect of the development of documentation and equipment supply facility 'booster compressor station' at the Khauzak site in Uzbekistan.

It said the contract duration was for 23 months, and that the project was expected to contribute positively to its earnings for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2011, 2012 and 2013.

KNM had earlier on May 26 announced that KNMPS had won the bid for the contract.
