KUALA LUMPUR: Jelas Ulung Sdn Bhd has offered to acquire all of Plus Expressway Bhd (Plus)'s business undertakings, including assets and liabilities for RM26 billion.
Its director Tan Sri Ibrahim Zain said the cost of the entire acquisition was based on RM5.20 per share, which would be satisfied by cash.
"We have sent the offer letter to the company and their directors today," he told Bernama here opn Monday, Dec 20, adding that the offer was valid for three months, ending March 18, 2011.
Ibrahim also said Bank of China, through its subsidiary, Hong-Kong based BOCI has given its total support to acquire the Plus business.
"We have got the final confirmation letter from the Bank of China a few days ago," he said. ' Bernama
