FBM KLCI up in early trade

KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI rose in line with most regional markets early Tuesday, June 29, and was up 1.45 points to 1,326.99 points at 9.05am.

Gainers led losers by 70 to 25, while 71 counters traded unchanged. Volume was 24.68 million shares valued at RM22.59 million.

Among the early gainers on Bursa Malaysia on Tuesday were DFZ Capital that added 33 sen to RM3.60, Malaysian Mosaics up 18 sen to RM1.60, PPB Group 14 sen to RM16.44, KFCH 12 sen to RM10.24 and Pharmaniaga up 10 sen to RM5.50.

Other early gainers included SP Setia, MPHB and Lysaght.

Kimlun Corporation Bhd, which made its debut on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia, was the most actively traded counter with 9.24 million shares done. At 9.05am, the stock was up 1.5 sen to 98.5 sen.

Other actives included Asiapac, Talam, Sinotop, Kumpulan Europlus and AirAsia.

Among the decliners in early trade were Tenaga, Hai-O, Sunway City, LPI Capital and Tejari.
