TOKYO: Japan's Nikkei average fell more than 2 percent to a seven-month low on Wednesday, June 30 after a tumble on Wall Street, with the benchmark index breaking below a key support level.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 shed 2.2 percent to 9,359.87, and fell as low as 9,358.38, its lowest since December.
The drop pushed down the Nikkei below key support of 9,378, a six-month low hit this month.
