KUALA LUMPUR: KAF-Seagroatt & Campbell Bhd's earnings fell 78.4% to RM1.61 million in the first quarter ended Aug 31, 2011 from RM7.47 million a year ago on higher expenses.
It said on Thursday, Oct 20 that revenue increased 18.7% to RM8.61 million from RM7.25 million. Earnings per share were 1.34 sen compared with 6.23 sen.
The lower earnings for the quarter ended Aug 31, 2011 when compared with a year ago were that operating expenses increased to RM3.72 million from RM549,000 while other income was RM2.16 million compared with RM8.67 million a year ago.
