#Update* Trading in Jotech, Autov, AIC suspended

KUALA LUMPUR: Trading in the securities of JOTECH HOLDINGS BHD [], Autov'' Corporation Bhd and AIC has been suspended from 9am on Wednesday, July 27 until 5pm on Friday.

The stock exchange said on Tuesday, the suspension was at the request of the companies pending an announcement.

AIC said the request for suspension was that 'AIC intends to make a material announcement on a significant change in business direction or policy of a listed corporation'.

The common shareholder in the companies is Goh Tian Chuan who has a 0.49% stake in Autov, 6.48% in Jotech and 20.42% in AIC.

Meanwhile, Kong Kok Keong is the largest shareholder in Autov with 26.7% or 15.58 million shares while AIC Corp is the second largest with 19.88%.

In Jotech, the shareholding is more fragmented with Liew Cheng York holding 8.59% or 94.85 million shares, Ooi Boon Pin 5.89% and Hiew Yon Fo 5.77%.

Jotech manufactures tools, dies, stamped metal parts and higher precision tooling. Autov manufactures and sell automotive window regulators, automotive electronic horns and auto parts. AIC Corp assembles and tests integrated circuit chips and provides IT solutions.
