KUALA LUMPUR: Shares of OLYMPIA INDUSTRIES BHD [] climbed in very active trade on Wednesday, Jan 12 after it firmed up its collaboration with Taiwan Lottery Co. Ltd to cooperate in the sales of 3-Digit and 4-Digit games in Taiwan.
At 9.03am, Olympia was up five sen to 35.5 sen with 14.24 million shares done.
The FBM KLCI rose 3.16 points to 1,566.10. Turnover was 82.5 million shares valued at RM47.61 million. There were 178 gainers, 27 losers and 104 stocks unchanged.
On Tuesday, Olympia said its unit Lotteries Corporation Sdn Bhd had signed a sales and marketing service agreement with Taiwan Lottery to work together to sell the games for a three-year period, starting Jan 11, 2011 to Dec 31, 2013.
